tastecard is the UK and Ireland's largest diners' club with thousands of participating restaurants. We are adding at least three hundred new restaurants every month, so we are getting bigger and better every single day. It is estimated that 95% of the UK's population now live or work within 5 minutes of a tastecard restaurant.
We work with the majority of major UK chains: PizzaExpress, gbk, Zizzi, La Tasca, ASK, Grand Union, Prezzo, Henry J Beans, Livebait, Masala Lounge, Auberge, Fine Burger Company and il Bertorelli are just a few examples. This is only part of the story, however, as we also have over 4,000 fabulous local independent restaurants for members to choose from - more than any other diners' club.
All of our restaurants are unlimited usage, meaning that our members are not restricted to just one visit per restaurant; you can go back as many times as you wish.
With your tastecard it is half price at all of our restaurants (either 50% off or 2 for 1 across all courses); as a club we have a strict policy on not accepting restaurants on a lesser offer, for the benefit of our members.
We only allow Friday and Saturday exclusions so there are very few restrictions on usage with a tastecard. Unlike other diners' clubs you will not find exclusions outside these regular parameters. One-off exclusions may include Mother's Day, Father's Day, the Christmas period and other 'celebration days'. Individual exclusions may also apply for exceptional circumstances such as 'event' days at a restaurant in a stadium or arena. However, these are the exceptions; we constantly demand the best on behalf of our members.
We now have over 800,000 members, more than any other diners' club in the World! 78% of our membership now choose to eat out only at tastecard restaurants, this really is incredible customer loyalty.
Our mobile Apps (iPhone, Android & Blackberry) and a mobile optimised website ensure that our members get outstanding value for money at the touch of a button and that our restaurants receive optimum visitation from diners whilst they're on the move.
Our '2 for 1' deal is across all courses ordered, and our 50% off the food bill deal is also applicable to groups of diners, you also only require one tastecard holder in the group.
We have a high quality customer service team at tastecard and we have the resources available to ensure every customer is very much looked after, valued and listened to throughout the duration of our relationship.
Our chosen charity
This year, tastecard are pleased to announce that we have chosen Mary's Meals as our partner charity. Mary's Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding projects in some of the world's poorest communities, where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education.
They provide one daily meal in a place of learning to attract chronically poor children into a classroom where they receive an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty.
This year we aim to donate over £40,000 to Mary's Meals. This donation would build a kitchen, feed and help educate around 5,000 children in Malawi for a year.
