The Humber Royal in Grimsby is one of the most sought after hotels in the town, a stylish four star establishment whose cool and contemporary interiors are a complete contrast to the hotel’s 1960’s style exterior. Located just a short distance from the town centre of Grimsby with its famous Docks and seafront, The Humber Royal is also a discerning destination for dining with its fabulous restaurant The Brasserie.
Overlooking the Grimsby Golf Course, the very chic eatery The Brasserie provides both a formal and informal setting in which to dine. The excellent menu focuses strongly on the seasons and champions locally sourced ingredients at all times including fish from local Grimsby fish smoker Alfred Enderby Ltd and meat from award winning Grimsby butchers John Pettit & Sons Ltd. Diners can select from a great all-day menu throughout the day with dishes such as salad, baguettes, jacket spuds and steaks all featuring whilst the dinner menu in the evenings offers a more refined set of dishes such as pancetta wrapped cod loin with black pudding, new potatoes and a leek and hollandaise sauce or Gressingham duck breast with sautéed asparagus, orange, walnut and rocket salad and a herb dressing.
The dining area boasts chic dark wood furnishings and elegantly presented tables whilst guests are also welcome to din in the lounge area with its cool green square armchairs and floor to ceiling windows. There is also a lovely outdoor terrace on which to enjoy a meal al fresco with vistas over the golf course.
