Visit the Blue Lagoon, a fantastic restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine. Their aim is to serve delicious food in a lovely atmosphere in a romantic setting that they feel most restaurants lack.
They have placed great emphasis on the décor at the restaurant, as well as the staff selection. The owners believe that these are great contributors towards a perfect dining experience.
The extensive wine list has also been carefully hand-picked, and there is a beverage who will please every pallet and budget.

" The location is better than the food. Be wary if you are a non meat eater. They have a tendency to put V for Vegetarian on anything, regardless of its ingredients. So when my wife ordered the Vegetarian soup and it turned up with a large prawn in it she was somewhat surprised- no apology, no understanding. The Beef Salad was also labelled V, but she asked for the beef to be replaced with tofu, and so it was, but the tofu was inedible, more fried leather than soft and tasty. We left some money on the table and departed.

" I went with one friend, and had booked a table in advance. We waited a full 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged by staff and shown to a table - we didn't even get the opportunity to state that we'd booked. The service was beyond terrible - the waiter rude and inattentive, food was delivered at different times (more like Wagamama service), it took ages to get our bill.
The food was reasonable/good quality, but nothing to get excited about and the portions were rather on the small side.
A very cheap looking interior in a great location which is very convenient for the theatre, but not recommended as 'dining out' experience. "

" This place is in a great location and offered very tasty food. However the restaurant is very small and for our group, one person had to sit on the end of a table clearly for 4 people (and there were 5 of us). They got knocked by people going behind them quite a few times. I'd recommend it for a quick catch-up with a friend because of the good food and goods spot but definitely not for a date or any sort of special occasion.

Went with a friend and the food tasted so great that we wanted more but didn't want to push it. The bill came to approx £20 and that's with 1 starter and 2 main course, which is a huge surprise even with the card. I say go for it :D

" The restaurant is a lot smaller than it appears on the website. We were a group of 9 for dinner. The food portions were very disappointing. The rice for example is served in a small bowl and is hardly enough for one person. Without the 50% off the bill would have been extortionate as we had to order a lot more dishes between us then we would in a normal restaurant. Will not be going back in a hurry.

However, our reservations on the venue and atmosphere were put to one side when the food arrived. It was one of the best Thai meals I have ever had. The portion sizes are generous and, on using tastecard the meal very reasonable.
Would not recommend as a venue for a first date or special occasion but if you can get past the slightly odd interior it is worth a visit for the fantastic food and wonderful quality of service. "

"I visited here this week; this restaurant is in a great location. The food was delicious, my only fault was the size of the portions they could have been a little bigger.
I wouldn't advise to visit here if you're in a hurry though as the service was a little slow and it took a while to get our bill.
