Jalsha was opened in Canterbury in 1993 by the Uddin family, who have been in the food trade for over two generations having originally started business with the Jalsha Hotel in their native country, Bangladesh.
The team at Jalsha take great pride in offering guests great quality food and top quality service and have received many awards over the years. Most recently, Head Chef Mr Miah came first in a National Curry Competition.
