2 for 1 at Planet Papadom

The owners at Planet Papadom have one aim – to bring a true taste of Indian food and culture to the streets of Poole, and to all who visit this restaurant. So far they have been extremely successful, and work hard to maintain the reputation they hold.

Each dish delivers flavour of remarkable complexity. Each is prepared authentically as it would be in the most private kitchen. No short cuts are taken and all spice mixes are prepared fresh.

They pay great attention to detail and ensure that every dish is beautifully presented. You can dine assured that your meal will be a treat for your eyes, and your stomach!

Empty restaurants are never a good sign and this barn of a place at the rear of a rundown boozer should have told me to go elsewhere, which if we hadn't just taken a £7 taxi fare to get there I would have. Mediocre food, average service, no atmosphere and a bit of a hassle using tastecard means I have to strongly recommend giving this a wide berth. The toilets shared with the pub although not quite "Train spotting" are the worst I have been unfortunate to encounter for some years, one can't help wondering about the kitchens. "
