Mike and Heather have been running this 16th century country freehold public house for 20 years and are pleased to offer you a traditional pub that serves great Ales (mainly sourced from local or micro-breweries) and really tasty homemade food and not a restaurant that sells beer!
With the help of the customers and friendly staff Mike and Heather aim to provide a great and comfortable atmosphere, also due to no music, juke boxes, fruit machines or television screens.
The Red Lion is very proud to have won the Chiltern Food Pub of the Year 2008 as well as Camra's runner up Mid-Chilterns Pub of the Year 2009. They also have entries in the Good Pub and Good Beer guides.
Unfortunately, The Red Lion are unable to accept children under the age of 14, except in the outdoor seating area when under adult supervision. The Red Lion provides a car park at the rear and there is suitable parking on the road outside.
Please Note: The tastecard discount is not available during the month of December.
