A fantastically located hotel, steeped in history. The Rugby Hotel is ideally positioned on a bustling market street right next to the famous Rugby School and is a short drive away from the NEC and Silverstone.
The restaurant here specialises in grills and modern British fare. They pride themselves on the local, seasonal ingredients they use and their uncompromising approach to quality and simplicity.
The menu changes with the seasons, but sample dishes include starters of chicken liver parfait with brioche and caramelised onion marmalade or pan fried sardines, watercress, lemon & horseradish dressing. The mains on offer can feature a wide selection of steaks; all of which are served with portobello mushroom, watercress, confit tomato and fries. But don't worry if steak isn’t your thing! There is also a changing range of dishes available which can include slow braised pork belly, wilted spinach, fondant potato in a pork jus or pan fried salmon, new potatoes, spinach and hollandaise sauce.
This is just a small selection of possible dishes on offer with plenty more options to choose from; all of which can be accompanied by an interesting and well-priced drinks menu.
