Spearheaded by the immensely talented award winning Head Chef Mateusz Nowatkowski, the Venata Grand Café at the Cumberland Hotel offers guests an exquisite double AA Rosette dining experience.

Hosted by the luxurious Cumberland Hotel, the Venata Grand Café is open to one and all, regardless of whether they’re staying overnight within the hotel. Hotel guests and hungry gourmets alike can relax in the opulent dining area and enjoy a rich offering of internationally inspired dishes.

A feast fit for a king needn’t cost a king’s ransom either, as those calling in advance with a tastecard can be treated to the exemplary fare served at a superb price. This makes the Venata Grand Café a fabulous location for a special occasion, or a particularly regal informal meal.

Featuring a menu heavily influenced by the changing seasons, diners returning throughout the year will be able to sample new flavours crafted by the passionate kitchen staff. New guests will enjoy the same high level of dishes, although they may find their attention grasped more firmly by the invigorating freshness of everything served.

Swiftly made, yet sumptuous quality, sandwiches are available for any gourmet on the go, while a wealth of options for a deeply rewarding three course meal are on offer for guests who wish to take their time and enjoy every mouthful. Sublime starters and divine desserts can act as resplendent pre-cursors and post-meal indulgences, yet the wide array of main courses are undoubtedly the stars of the show.

A myriad merit worthy meals can be found on the menu, yet some particularly tantalising tastes include the succulent Trio of Pork, an ensemble of Dorset black pudding, Rosario chorizo sausage and confit belly with braised jasmine rice and zucchini, the scrumptious courgette and asparagus risotto, complete with onion ash, tomato essence and Pecorino cheese, and the hearty Ventana’s Luxury Smoked Fish Pie, filled with the boat caught catch of the day and paired with a cheesy mash.
