2 for 1 at Ye Horns Inn

Having been in the Woods family since 1952, Ye Horn's Inn is a traditional coaching inn located in Goosnargh, a village situated in the heart of the Lancashire countryside. Holders of the 'Taste Lancashire Highest Quality' award, the restaurant serves freshly cooked cuisine, sourced from the area.

Head Chef and Owner, Mark Woods champions a traditional northern menu, but has added a contemporary flair with his seasonal speciality dishes.

With a passion for regional flavours, Mark sources as much produce as possible from within Lancashire. His duck, game and cheese arrive directly from neighbouring Goosnargh farms. Such is the quality and consistency of the inns food that in 2010, Ye Horn's was awarded the prestigious 'Taste Lancashire Highest Quality Award.' All dishes are freshly prepared and cooked in house.

Ye Horns is the ideal place to eat delicious food, sample real ales, take a break and explore Lancashire.

Please Note: The tastecard discount is not available on Bank Holidays or Celebration Days including Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday, Father’s Day etc. or during the month of December. Ye Horns Inn is closed during Monday lunchtime. The offer is not available on the Sunday Lunch Set menu.

My partner and I had a lovely roast chicken dinner. The real ale was very nice although my partner commented that the Savignon blank was not the best. The price however for the round of drinks was under £7.00, a pleasant surprise, many establishments these days fleece the customer on the drinks. The dinners came to £22.90 but was reduced to half price, £11.95, using the tastecard. I have marked down the atmosphere as there were a number of loud, obnoxious children accompanied by their selfish parents, who ruined the dining experience. The load screeching and screaming was allowed to continue with the compliance of the management and the ignorance of the parents. Not for
the first time a enjoyable eating experience in relaxed surroundings was marred by families with unruly children. As is life....it will no doubt remain so unless establishments take back control. We will go back again but perhaps not for while yet. "

Busy! A warm welcome, an open fire and three good real ales to greet you. Food was good albeit a little expensive but the taste card helped there. Steak & ale pie was tasty the chicken leak crumble was too dry & needed some of my sons gravy to liven it up.
Busy for a Monday evening the open fire and the good ale meant we could easily have stayed there all evening especially with the wet windy weather outside. Will come back and will definitely be fetching the taste card! "

We had lunch at Ye Horns on 11th November 2014.

The food was excellent as always. The pub is quaint, very welcoming and the open fire very warming.

We have tried many restaurants and pubs in Lancashire over the years, some good, some bad.

We always go back to Ye Horns because of the friendly welcome and good home cooked food. "

" Went to the Ye Horns Inn 21st October 2014 with the Tastecard 2 4 1 deal. The restaurant was very quaint, the food was very good but it was not a friendly experience. The only friendly efficient person was the young waitress. I was very disappointed with the final bill. I was charged £6.20 each for a small glass of wine. X 3 = £18.60. I hadn’t been told about the price when I was given the wine. The wine cost wiped out the benefit of the 2 4 1 deal. I will not be going back to Ye Horns Inn and I would not recommend the experience there. Not a Tastecard friendly place. "
