Kadai and Naan used to be Sherpa, a fine Nepalese restaurant. I only discovered this Sherpa late last year so when it closed for upgrades I was disappointed as I was concerned the menu would change. Not so... Prakash's food is always superb. It reminds me of my mother’s food, healthy, freshly cooked and carefully spiced.
What makes Kadai and Naan stand out from the rest of the Indian restaurants in Oxford is that the food is honest, healthy (you won't find litres of oil and cream in your food), and very reasonably priced. Nepali food wins over the pseudo Indian 'balti' food served around Oxford hands down.
