2 for 1 at Leonora's Kitchen

Welcome to Leonora’s Kitchen located on the King’s Mile in the heart of historic Canterbury. An independent, licensed restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere matched by considerate and friendly service, Leonora’s Kitchen is a popular venue.

Serving unique, fresh, seasonal and delicious handmade food in the open kitchen, the Bistro is the ideal stop for visitors to Canterbury as well as a regular haunt for discerning locals.

Fresh, local ingredients are used to create dishes and the menu is changed seasonally to bring you new and tasty treats using the best fayre Kent has to offer.

Suppliers include breads from Oscar’s of Faversham, fresh chicken and lamb from Monkshill and other local farms, Ashmore Cheeses help create the unique cheese board and vegetables from Dumbrell’s of Canterbury.

The fusion style food takes inspiration from world cuisines reflecting Karen’s mixed heritage and Jan’s Polish background as well as their love of discovering new ideas while travelling.

A highly recommended Espresso blend of freshly ground coffee from the Kent Coffee Company is available and the team take great pride in making the perfect coffees for guests to enjoy. The wide variety of leaf teas come from Taylors of Harrogate and organic juices from Luscombs.

My husband & I ate here on Friday 14 March before going to the theatre. It is a small, intimate restaurant with exceptional interest from both owner/chef and her delightful waitress. We were glad we'd shared the mezze - all scrummy - and followed that with the lamb tagine which was also very good. A taster of the chocolate brownie confirmed that it is a-mazing! Would definitely go back and highly recommend this slightly different to the norm venue. Thank you. "

" A family run restaurant with delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and anxious to please.

The menu was not extensive but provided a good balance with enough choices.

Wine was also good and not expensive for the quality.

Would thoroughly recommend a visit. "
