Guanabara is London’s largest Brazilian late night venue. They are open 5 nights a week (Wed-Sun) with DJs, live acts and lots and lots of dancing – you will always see something new at Guanabara.
The name comes from the Tupi-Guarani language name for the famous bay in Rio de Janeiro, the gateway to Brazil and a home of blazing extremes. A cultural mix that embraces the playground of Copacabana beach, where the sidewalks are patterned swells of black and white marble, to the hillside favela rising behind; from famous Ipanema beach and its high rise apartments to the Sugar Loaf and Jurujuba beach.
Not only does Guanabara showcase the broad range of new Brazilian music but it also offers a taste of the various styles of cooking from across this vast country. From the famous landscape of Rio to the remote river towns of the Amazon, few countries dazzle all of the senses as Brazil can.
Experience the mixture of flavours in its cuisine, where indigenous seeds and roots were combined with European techniques and West African influences. And for drinks and cocktails, Guanabara is proud to source exotic fruits for its cocktails direct from sustainable eco-farms in the Amazon region.
Guanabara is a great place where where all come to eat, drink and play!
Please Note: Guanabara offers 50% off the total food bill for a maximum of 4 diners per card. The discount is not valid on Sundays as the a la carte menu is not served. This venue is open Wednesday - Sunday.
