2 for 1 at Crazy Wendy's

Crazy Wendy's, situated in West Didsbury, offers customers a unique dining experience. Crazy Wendy has been entertaining her guests for years with her unique renditions of Shirley Bassey and Elvis amongst others.

A favourite amongst locals and city visitors, what sets Crazy Wendy's aside from your average Thai Restaurant is the fantastic food, the great service and the hostess - Crazy Wendy! Wendy sets the restaurant alight with her energy, the diners join in and soon everyone is on their chairs and singing along. Nowhere else in Manchester can you have such a unique dining experience that is so much fun.

The restaurant itself has recently undergone a complete renovation and is now larger and more luxurious, more comfortable and much more snazzy. It's the ideal venue for a quiet mid-week meal as well as the party nights on the weekend. They now provide full disabled access and toilets.

The menu consists of all your favourite Thai dishes including soups, curries, beef, chicken, pork, seafood, noodle and rice dishes along with a large vegetarian selection.

We dined midweek so the restaurant was quiet, Wendy was not too crazy, she comes alive at weekend. The food was excellent, we had the combo starter for 2. A typically Chinese selection of prawn toast, satay skewers, won ton, prawn crackers etc. Every item was really good with a varied selection of dips. Then the main. I went for roast duck red curry and my daughter went for the jungle curry, which caused a bit of concern for Wendy as apparently, not many people like it as its a very strange dish eaten in the jungles of Thailand. When it arrived it was Delicious. A curried combination of Thai veg, chicken and fish sauce. Wendy was relieved that we both enjoyed it. The service was excellent, we were served by Crazy Wendy herself, and would heartily recommend this restaurant to everyone "

We had a lovely meal here, the beer was quite expensive but that is to be expected.

The place was empty when we went on a Wednesday night which made the atmosphere a bit deflated.

Will be going again midweek as there is no singing or dancing which isn't my thing like on a weekend.

Food was great and authentic. Waitress extremely helpful. Food piping hot and quick to table. "
