We were waiting (standing) for a while before we were seated.
Meet and greet at the door was not so pleasant, member of staff was filling in loads of documents before we were shown to our table. My surname was misspelled, but I did not get upset about it too much :)
Food was OK, nothing crazy. Rather poor choice on menu. Menu was printed on A4 piece of paper, it did not have a restaurant feel to it.
Waiters were polite.
After our meal we had to go and pay at 'the door', I was surprised that they were unable to take the payment at the table. We had to stand for few minutes waiting for member of staff to find a minute, to take the payment from us, as she had to sort out new guests that were queueing at the door...
We were given wrong bill and member of staff could not change it.
Card terminal was not working. We were escorted by the restaurant manager to hotel reception to pay the bill.
Restaurant manager asked standard question 'was everything alright tonight?', but when we started to explain to her our experience she did not really want to listen to it. She said she did not understand why non-residents came to dine there tonight, she said she was not told...
It was not that bad, but I will not be going there again because of rather poor customer service and lack of appropriate services and facilities - i.e. proper menus, pay the bill at the table, waiting time and lack of staff training.
