My first visit to this tapas restaurant & bar was a joy...the food and staff were excellent and I felt I'd found a real gem and indeed recommended the place to family and friends.
Very sadly, today's experience was the very opposite. The food was not of good quality - one example being that the tiger prawns actually smelled and tasted of petrol (yes, petrol), to both myself and my companion. My fingers still hold the tainted smell, despite my hand-washing several times since.
The staff were inattentive and haphazard...perhaps this was due to the time we ate, arriving at 5pm on a Friday evening and the place was empty ... it was as though they weren't yet ready for the day's/evening's work and just wanted an easy break.
I could describe the bathroom situation but have decided not to. And much else besides. Maybe a very unlucky day however all in all very sad to have to say goodbye to a place I once really liked & had looked forward to revisiting. And by the way, the Spanish music had actually given way to Disco music! Shame.
