    Dinner: Menu was slightly limited. Food came rather quickly especially starters. Both courses tasted nice. The staff were busy but eager to please and attentive. Ambiance was poor. Lighting was poor and music was low. Breakfast:Seated quickly but VERY noticeable that tables were not being cleared. Food was a good selection and tasty. Staff were helpful and brought over a fried egg to the table as I was waiting for a new batch to be cooked. "

We ordered our drinks and also our food as we had made up our minds. We ordered a main course and desert only. The food came about half an hour Later. I ask the waiter what had happened to our drinks, he said he would chase them up. After we had finished our main course, I saw the manager and complained to him that we had still not received our drinks although I had already complained once. The manager then dealt with it personally and assured me that the drinks would now be on the house. When the bill was presented there was no Tastecard reduction and the cost of the drinks was still on it. I had to complain once again to the manager to get the bill put right. "

Didn't have my booking when we turned up. Such a bog standard menu. Melon, soup or pate to start soooo 1970s. Then choice of salmon, gammon or a vegetarian meal for main.Where was the roast pork, or beef with Yorkshire pudding? It was just ok, nothing special :/ "
