50% off at The Blue Chair

The Blue Chair is a small family business, opened by an Australian chef married to a Scottish songwriter. They are creative people who love good food & value the arts.

They have a poem box in the café so you can submit any napkin (or other) poetry if you want to share. Check out their in-house poem bubble, which will feature a different poem each week. Any outstanding contributions to their poem box will be considered for this too. So you might even share your idle thoughts with their other patrons & if it does make it to the bubble we’ll give you a complimentary meal for two.

To compliment this they will offer a selection of short but diverse menus running at different times during the week. They’ll be constantly updated with culinary delights from home & abroad to keep you interested.

Good simple food for the body, mind & the soul.

" An understated treat on the edge of Merchant City. Delicious dishes, desserts and drinks twinned with attentive staff that make you feel valued from the moment you step through the door. The musical and alternative entertainment is heaps of fun. The best BYOB cafe in the city by far. "

" This wonderful hidden gem in Glasgow is one of the friendliest & relaxed places I have ever been to in the city. With the emphasis on great home cooked food & amazing value for money
In an age of soulless chain pubs, The Blue Chair is a breath of fresh air. Lorelle most definitely, is the hostess with the mostess who genuinely cares about her customers & if you're really lucky maybe Jay will knock out a few tunes in the corner.
With money being tight for most of us their bring your own bottle, for a small price policy is a welcome bonus &,now that they accept the taste card there really is no excuse :)
I eat here every time I am in Glasgow & I would recommend the home made pies & wedges.
If you get the chance give them a try,you won't be disappointed. "
