The Ibis Styles London Excel is located in the Docklands area within 1 mile of London City Airport. Opposite the ExCeL exhibition centre and with excellent transport links, it is the ideal place to stay in London if you are looking for hotels near the O2, ExCeL, Canary Wharf, the Olympic Park or Westfield Stratford.

The steakhouse is a brand new concept brought to the Ibis Styles London Excel Hotel where you can choose from a selection of the finest cuts of meat along with homemade beef burgers. But fear not, if you are not a lover of steak there is an extensive range of dishes for vegetarians and lighter eaters for you to consider.

Important Information

Please Note: The restaurant is closed on Sunday's. The tastecard discount applies to the total food bill only for food ordered from the a la carte menu. The discount does not include drinks. The tastecard discount is only available on an evening after 6pm.

    The Room: Very small, Very cold, Air conditioned doesn’t have heat, only ventilator, Heater only works sometimes.
    Bathroom: seems an airplane toilet, the shower has a very limited flow of water.
    The surroundings: In front of the hotel something that looks like a train station is being built which is not nice to see from the bedroom window.
    Overall service: Third world class service. If you have a problem with the hotel you will experience a surprising experience.
    Hotel Car Services: Don’t use the hotel Custom Car Services! I lost my plane! The car got to the hotel 15 minutes late and we arrived at the airport 25 minutes late. I called the hotel to get some compensation, like a free night and way and return to London or at least my money back and first they denied that the car was late then finally they said that this is normal and they are not responsible for getting late to the airport. These things happen!!!! The manager hang up the phone and left me speaking alone. I felt suddenly I had left London and I was in a third world country. Costs were £ 75 to pay the car service, £ 130 to change flight to the next day, £ 61 to way and return train tickets to London, £ 90 to sleep at other hotel and one day missing at work. "
