When visiting Abbey, you can expect good value for money - the portions and the quality of the food are well worth more than is charged. There are bar snacks available from early evening, including the usual choices of chunky chips, potato wedges, and ciabatta pizza slices mixed with more eclectic spicy kardoula peppers and stuffed vine leaves, breaded calamari strips, and smoked salmon crostini.
At lunchtime the food is more substantial, however, the menu is equally well-priced. Serving light bites such as various salads, fish cakes, soups, chicken and lamb burgers with various accompaniments, you can be sure that Abbey will attend to the needs of your every taste bud, whatever you fancy. If you are visiting in a group the sharing platters are ideal, all with themes like Rustic, Mediterranean and Seafood.
As well as the amazing food, Abbey is well known for its decor. Varied and interesting, it’s not easy to describe the theme of this place in one word. The various colours or tables and chairs, and bright and alluring patterns and materials all help towards giving Abbey the reputation that it has. The lighting, known for being an eye-widening feature, ranges from unique modern lights in the shape of uniform orange cylinders to chandeliers, elegant hanging white shell lampshades and even a disco ball - to keep it casual.
When visiting Abbey, expect the best. It’s well reputed food and beautiful decor are sure to put towards a lovely dining experience!
