    We had a booking at 6.30p.m., but when we arrived, on time, we were informed that they wouldn't be serving food until 7.30p.m.. When we indicated that this was news to us and that a booking for 6.30p.m. implied that we were expecting to eat soon after 6.30p.m. the waitress disappeared and then returned to say that they could after all cater for us now.
    My husband ordered the creamy mushrooms as a starter, which looked and tasted fine. My son and I had the grilled halloumi with couscous. The couscous was freshly cooked and warm, whereas the halloumi was stone cold, not showing even the slightest sign of having been near any implement to heat it and was hard and dry. It did, however, have criss-cross patterning on it, consistent with the appearance of grilling. On our journey home, I remembered that Greek yoghurt and mint had been promised as an accompaniment, but this was conspicuously absent. For a main course my husband had Linguine Pomodoro with salmon, which was fine. My son had Hunter's Chicken, which was dry, but otherwise acceptable. I had Baked Cod, which, according to the menu, would be served on a bed of chorizo (it turned out to be 3 very small pieces) with roasted mediterranean vegetables (which turned out to be a small quantity of roasted vegetables, but predominantly very dry new potatoes). The cod itself was small and dry. Nobody asked us whether our meals were ok in either course. We had to ask for our drinks, ordered at the same time as our meal, to be served after our starters arrived. I have a smallish appetite, but I left after 2 courses £35 lighter, but still feeling hungry. Overall very dissatisfying. "
