King Eddie's is a 19th century grade II listed pub set in the heart of Stratford in East London. With its low ceilings and open fires the pub has a country feel, and is a world away from the bustle of the town centre.
The aim is to bring you the best of British produce in their traditional style pub. Here at King Eddie's they make the most of British produce by serving simple, rustic, fresh food with as much as possible made on the premises. They make their own pies, sauces, soups and bake their own bread every day.
They have one menu that you can eat anywhere in the pub. It consists of smaller dishes that can be had on their own or as a starter and larger ones for those in need of something to fill them up.
Quality is the highest priority here, therefore the meats are sourced from suppliers who use extensive farming methods and none of their fish appears on the 'endangered list' as issued by the Marine Conservation Society.
As for the drinks, they have a great selection of unusual British beers, both on draught and in the bottle and some exquisite still and sparkling wines from the south east of England. Of course the beer and wine lists include some foreign imports as their British producers are not quite up to speed yet.
Please Note: The tastecard discount is not available on Celebration Days including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day etc or during the month of December.
