Baltic restaurant, Jan Woroniecki’s second restaurant, has become London’s destination restaurant south of the river. Situated a stones throw from the Old Vic and the Tate Modern, it specializes in Eastern European Cuisine. Originally an eighteenth century coach builders, the Architect Seth Stein has retained its beautiful original and spacious design, making it a truly exquisite dining experience. Visit Baltic in and sample their new menu; our new range of cocktails; draft beer served in iced glasses, and Baltic’s famous myriad of flavoured wodkas.
Their 2 private function rooms, (seating 30 each ) as well as the restaurant (seating 150) are available for hire; with flat screens and projectors if needed.
Please Note: As with all of the taste restaurants, the offer on runs on the A La Carte menu (served in the restaurant area), it is not available on the bar menu. The discount is for a maximum of 2 diners per card. The tastecard discount is not available on Valentine's Day.

I searched the tastecard website for a restaurant near the Tate Modern and thought Baltic looked interesting. It was a great find! The food and drinks were delicious, there was a great atmosphere (full on a Wednesday night) and I really liked the decor. I was recommending to anyone and go again!

I'd visited Baltic a few times for their excellent cocktails but had never eaten there. I was tempted by the interesting Polish menu and decided to book and I was not disappointed. The food is fantastic - the salt beef was a highlight as was the delicious polish coffee complete with a shot of vodka. The staff were great and using the tastecard was really easy.

" Went for a catch-up dinner with a dear friend at Baltic last night. We arrived early for January happy hour cocktails in the bar, which were delicious. The bar was busy, but not crowded, and the bartenders went out of their way to look after us.
Our waitress in the restaurant was similarly attentive. Our reservation was at 8pm on a Wednesday but the restaurant was near capacity and quite busy.
The food was very tasty indeed and good value even before you subtract the tastecard discount. I will definitely be returning to Baltic. "

This is the best restaurant i have been to in a long time. Really good food, great service, lovely atmosphere. I had the Quail starter and Goose main course. My friend had the Crab salad and Rabbit main course.

"My friend and I ate here a couple of weeks ago and the food was excellent! Generous portions and staff were particularly accommodating with my friend's special dietary requirements. Interior was a pleasant surprise - complete contrast to exterior so don’t be put off! I highly recommend this place and will definitely dine again.

Disappointed that the venison was not on the Sunday menu as it was recommended by another reviewer. The chips i had with my steak were very nice - Actual potatoes.

"Baltic is probably the best restaurant I've ever been to using the Tastecard... lovely building and atmosphere, friendly service and DELICIOUS food. Generous portions too. I opted for seared scallops for starters and venison for my main course, both highly recommended. Definitely try this place out!

"Six of us went to Baltic for a birthday celebration. Was an excellent night, the food and service was very good. I would definitely recommend the starter which was hot smoked salmon with beetroot and horseradish. Everyone said how nice their food was and we really enjoyed the vodkas too. We used two tastecards which halved the food bill on four people's food and overall worked out to £40 per head inc service, two bottles of Pinot Grigio, beers, cocktails and vodkas. Highly recommended.

"Had dinner at Baltic last night with my family. We really liked the food and the ambience. The menu has a wide choice, from loads of fish to different meats. I had the marinated Whiting and celeriac remouloade as a starter, very delicate flavour, while for main I opted for lamb shashlink and smoked aubergine...very nice, although slightly under cooked on the meat. We used taste card (unfortunately only on two people's bill) and paid just under £40 a head inc. a bottle of French Muscadet.

"What an amazing restaurant.
It was a bit difficult to find as the restaurant name is not very clear, service was slow at the beginning waiting for a table. However the food was wonderful and quick. I had the seared scallops to begin with, they were cooked perfectly. Next I had a sirloin steak with mizari (cucumber and dill) steak a little tough, not because of the cooking, maybe its cut. But by god the mizari was amazing, delicious and fresh. I ended the evening with an apple and blackberry crumble, which was different without the pastry. The apples a little undercooked. Will come back, spent just over £30 for one, but worth every penny.
