Welcome to the Clarendon, Holland Park and Notting Hill’s newest pub, cocktail lounge bar and restaurant. Situated on the fringes of Notting Hill and just moments from Portobello Road, the Clarendon is perfectly positioned on a quiet residential street, providing a welcome oasis of calm.
With a stunning cocktail lounge, ground floor restaurant and large roof terrace, it is the perfect spot to relax with a cocktail, re-energise with a delicious brunch, sunbathe on the terrace or have a party in the private dining room with friends.
The terrace is a unique space sitting secludedly at tree level on a beautiful Holland Park street. When the sun shines it is easy to feel that you are on holiday. The terrace holds up to sixty people, but you can book areas for smaller groups and also situated just off the cocktail lounge is the private dining room with a classic American tin ceiling.
Please note: The Clarendon is open for evening service 6pm- 10pm Monday to Thursday and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the restaurant opens all day. The tastecard is not available during the Sunday lunch period, as the a la carte menu is not available at this time.

"Had a great meal here last night. On the basis of the reviews here we went for the Chateaubriand and were not disappointed! The selection of 3 sauces were all lovely and we had beans, spinach and mash sides. Service was excellent - they gave us 2 off-menu items (a bread and olive platter to start and mash as a side) and attentive without being overbearing. Too full for pudding so made do with some port. We'll be back to sample the desserts on a different day. Atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely worth a try!!

"I think this is what people call 'a gem' ...the food was excellent and the atmosphere calm and homely. The pictures do not do this justice and obviously the pub has been re-vamped since this picture was taken.
It is a little walk out of the way, but it is well worth it. I will definitely go back even if it’s just for the Chateaubriand.

"My partner and I went to The Clarendon last night for dinner and it was superb. We enjoyed homemade bread, a venison starter and shared the Chateaubriand, which was out of this world.
The veggies were cooked to perfection and the wine was a lovely complement to the meal. Wait service was excellent - friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back and bring friends and family. Yummy!

"I went last night with my best friend. She came from France to visit and wanted to taste some British food!
We ended up with a Chateaubriand (ha ha ha). It's the steak for two David is referring to.
She was in H E A V E N, and so was I. The meat, the mushrooms, the sides... everything was perfect to the detail.
The atmosphere is very peaceful (even romantic) and yet dynamic. Can't wait to go back!

The food Was amazing and a good size the main was the steak for two WOW AMAZING must try it, the place itself was great upstairs was not open but will be booking it for a private party very soon.
Looking forward to go back.

"I went to the Clarendon last week with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was of great quality and good size portions and the service was great. We took a cake with us and they went to the trouble of adding a candle and little raspberries around the edge at no cost!
I can't wait to go back to try some more of the menu and the cocktail list!
