Guchhi Indian Seafood and Bar is an Indian restaurant in Edinburgh. This fabulous eatery promises a culinary journey through the streets of India, with dishes from both North and South India featuring heavily on the menu. The chefs, Vishant Das and Sachin Dhanola shared the aim of using their combined experience and passion for food to create a restaurant that would really stand the test of time.
The menu is truly innovative, and whether you have a keen eye for presentation or you are all about the taste, you will not be disappointed. Although seafood features heavily at Guchhi Indian, you will find plenty of choice here. Try the Paneer Tikka, with cubes of homemade cheese marinated with cream, chilli, carumseeds, and gram flour mixed with onions, peppers and tomato. This dish is available with meat or fish. Another option is the Guneshwar Scallops, with Green Bell Peppers, dried Fenugreek leaves and coriander with oven baked scallops in shell with Bombay duck sauce.
Both Vishant and Sachin are extremely keen to continue showcasing traditional Indian food at it's finest, especially when it comes to seafood.
