The Exhibit is a young, modern and undoubtedly stylish bar and restaurant. From the outside looking in, the Exhibit exudes a modern industrial feel (the premises used to be a dilapidated train shed), handily situated almost opposite the tube and rail station.
Situated in Balham, this laid back eatery serves delicious British tapas dishes cooked to perfection. Using the best locally sourced ingredients, they have created an extensive menu that is designed for all, whether you prefer to share or not. Standout dishes include the ribeye steak, soy glazed pork belly with sweet and sour beetroot and wilted spinach, and the delectable spring vegetable and coconut curry with quinoa.
As a starter, sharer or snack, diners can also feast on butternut squash and ricotta tacos, crispy squid, and BBQ pork ribs served with creamed corn. If it's a wholesome breakfast or hangover cure you're hankering after, The Exhibit have that covered too with their all day brunch menu: filled with generous offerings of eggs benedict, bacon and avocado.
In the summer there is seating out front and a landscaped drinking terrace to the side, complete with massive umbrellas and heat lamps. The Exhibit is certainly the only place to go in Balham if you are after an expertly prepared cocktail.
Please note: the tastecard discount is available on the a la carte menu. Drinks are not included in the discount. The offer is not available on Friday, Saturday or Sunday lunchtimes as the a la carte menu is not served on this day. This restaurant excludes Friday and Saturday evenings and is closed on Sunday evenings.
