Ideally located for those exploring the local attractions, this venue provides guests with delicious British cuisine, cooked to perfection by Head Chef, Ben Miller, who has worked in some top kitchens across the country including Amberley Castle, Danesfield House, and Restaurant One O One in Knightsbridge, which is well known as London’s Premier Fish Restaurant. Head Chef Miller's experiences have also achieved two AA Rosettes at the Bath Spa Hotel, and his cooking was also celebrated by Michael Roux Jr on BBC’s Masterchef The Professionals, where he successfully reached the quarter finals of the competition.
Dishes on the menu include the sumptuous pan seared scallops, finished with curried chickpeas and a cumin spiced cauliflower puree, and the rich poached asparagus, to name but a few of the exemplary appetisers. The main courses are just as delicious and diverse, with dishes such as the lamb shoulder, slow cooked with mashed potatoes, summer vegetables and a black olive puree, and the tantalising tuna steak, seared with roasted sweet potatoes, spinach and a shellfish sauce. If guests still wish for a sweet conclusion they can sample one of the divine desserts including the likes of the classic treacle tart, the enticing pineapple carpaccio, and the supremely savoury Sussex Cheese Board.
The Norfolk Arms Hotel have a fabulous outdoor area, where diners can enjoy their meal al fresco in picturesque surroundings, with heaters available for those brisker evenings, making it a fantastic spot to visit with friends and family all year round.
