The Carpenters Arms is a small 14th century pub located within the rural village of Eastling. It boasts two huge inglenook fireplaces and a variety of Shepherd Neame beers.
This family run pub boats leather sofas, log fires and a warm welcome. There is a large garden and a very comfortable interior for dining or enjoying a pint of real ale. Wine is available by the glass, a selection of coffees, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
In the kitchen, the experienced kitchen team pride themselves on using locally sourced produce when possible. Menus have been created to provide a top quality dining experience of fresh, local food cooked to an extremely high standard. All dishes are prepared and cooked in house to ensure the most flavoursome dish is delivered to your table.
The Carpenter’s Arms specialize in high quality home cooked food, using only the freshest ingredients; nothing is bought in pre made. Local farms supply their meat, beef has been hung for at least 3 weeks, a local cheese maker supplies their cheese and vegetables where possible from local suppliers also. On all of their menus at The Carpenters Arms they are proud to state that all the dishes are produced on site.
The dishes are inspired by classic British recipes, whilst some also contain an international influence and all ingredients are fresh.
The staff are friendly and the service is efficient, allowing for a smooth and enjoyable meal out.
