Little Ethel’s restaurant is a relatively new addition to the dining portfolio of Blackpool and has already created a buzz amongst diners in the seaside town. Located within the New Valron Hotel, a popular Blackpool establishment for visitors to the town, Little Ethel’s serves a superb menu of locally sourced cuisine. Fondly named after the owner’s little pug dog Ethel, Ethel’s Restaurant offers a stylish yet informal ambience for a meal out.
The Ethel’s Restaurant menu has obviously been carefully designed and takes pride in its use of locally sourced ingredients which include the best cuts of meat and the freshest, locally caught fish. Grilled meats are big on the Ethel’s menu with a variety of amazing steaks to choose from, the grilled buffalo burgers have already become legendary in the town, served on a fresh brioche bun and topped with the house relish. Other standout dishes include the pan fried hake with king prawns and a garlic and citrus sauce and the slow roasted black faced lamb shank with a red wine and rosemary sauce. Desserts like the Baileys and chocolate cheese cake guarantee diners are planning a return visit soon.
A smart, contemporary style best sums up Ethel’s dining room with cool monochrome wallpaper and black and plum circular shaped banquette seats. Huge cabinets are filled with wine bottles from the well-chosen wine list.
Located just a stone’s throw from Blackpool’s famous Golden Mile and all of its main attractions, Ethel’s Restaurant is a great addition to the town.
