Ednam House is a beautiful dining venue for special occasions, a relaxed afternoon tea or an evening out with friends.
The menu here covers all of the main dishes expected from a British style restaurant from Fillet of Pan Fried Scottish Salmon to Dup of Corn Fed Chicken. Well worth a mention is the lovely grilled local pheasant breast which comes with Haggis mashed potatoes, bacon, beetroot puree, roasted chestnuts and a Red wine jus. As for the desserts, the Chocolate tart with black cherry and kirch reduction and Chantilly cream is superb whilst the glazed lemon tart with raspberry sorbet and fruit compote is to die for.
Housed in a Georgian Mansion in the Scottish Borders, Ednam House is situated right on the banks of the River Tweed and is well worth a visit. Trendy rustic style interiors create just the right vibe with panoramic views and a well-stocked bar serving a wide range of wines, beers and spirits.
Clearly passionate about serving the very best in British produce, this lovely restaurant is fast gaining a loyal legion of regular customers and it’s easy to see why.
