Phoned to book and arrived 15 mins late (I know- our fault!) so had to wait a while for a table which is understandable, however we found out our name hadn't actually been written down in the book for a table anyway so would have had to have waited anyway!

Ordered 6 popadoms and got 4- had to ask for some more! Also got charged £2 to top up the mint yoghurt and onion chutneys!

Food was quite good- can't complain but nothing special.

Would probably return again but only as there isn't any more around.

Smiley and friendly staff but didn't seem too bothered about our dining experience - maybe it's because they were busy! "

Greeted by friendly staff on arrival. Seated at table promptly. Atmosphere lively and friendly but not overwhelmingly loud. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Poppadum and sauces all tasted home made no indication that any of the food or sauces served were shop bought. Curry well flavoured and nicely spiced. Tarka Dahl rich and flavorfull with just the right consistency. Garlic naan one of the nicest I've had and even my orange juice and lemonade was a cut above the average served most places. Manager friendly and welcoming. Well on it's way to securing it's spot as my favourite curry house! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good night out avoiding the alcohol fuelled shenanigans in the city centre on a Friday night! "
