The stand-out feature of Cringletie House is its magnificent feature fireplace, and the hand painted ceilings which couple together to create an air of refinery and elegance that wouldn’t go amiss in the pages of a Jane Austen novel.
With friendly staff on hand to ensure you enjoy your experience, and a team of experienced chefs in the kitchen, they do all that they can to provide a brilliant dining experience. The team at The Cringletie Dining Room also work hard all year round to ensure that their menu only comprises of the freshest and best of the produce available in that season – and so there’s sure to be something delicious for them to offer you all year round.
The Bar menu comprises of simple, country favourites that have been crafted and cooked to perfection. Highlights include their Roast loin of pork served with Black pudding mash, seasonal vegetables, maple and black peppered apples and a delicious cider cream sauce, and their wide selection of Burgers including notable favourite ‘The Braveheart’ which is topped with haggis and finished with lashings of peppercorn sauce.
For those who aren’t wanting to sample the delights of the Scottish Borders, they also feature dishes from around the world, such as their open chicken fajita with warm salsa, guacamole and sour cream, served with spicy jalapenos on the side.
