Edwardian Bar is part of the Best Western Alicia Hotel in Liverpool. The hotel is set overlooking the pretty grounds of Sefton Park, just south of Liverpool city centre. It’s housed in an old Edwardian cotton merchant’s house so has plenty of old world charm. Edwardian Bar is decorated in keeping with the age of the building. There’s wood panelling, a huge old fireplace and big, deep armchairs, making it a relaxing and comfortable space in which to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. It’s a great venue for an informal business meeting or a cosy catch up with friends.
The bar welcomes both residents and non-residents and it’s open from midday until late every day of the week. This home away from home also boasts a big screen TV for watching the latest sporting action and a well-stocked bar serving hot and cold drinks. There’s a menu of snacks and light bites to choose from and some tasty sweet treats too.
Edwardian Bar and The Best Western Alicia Hotel Liverpool are both easily accessed from the A561 and the A562. There’s plenty of parking on site and it’s just a ten minute drive into Liverpool city centre. Diners travelling by public transport will find St Michaels rail station 15 minutes’ walk away and bus stops just around the corner offering routes in and around the city. Anyone fancying a pre or post meal stroll will find Sefton Park, Princes Park and Festival Gardens along the waterfront all close by.
