Pizza, pasta, seafood and steak at authentic Italian restaurant in Glasgow
Marcello’s is an Italian restaurant serving delicious and authentic cuisine in the heart of Glasgow city centre. Using only the finest and freshest ingredients, the team at Marcello’s create dishes packed with bold Italian flavours. Dough and pasta are made in house, from scratch every day and there’s a great selection of meat and fish dishes to choose from too. Diners can enjoy an aperitif in the restaurant bar before relocating to the warm and welcoming dining room where there’s lots of comfortable seating and a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.
On the menu there are pasta dishes like gnocchi cooked with porcini mushrooms and gorgonzola cheese, fish dishes like sea bass fillets cooked with garlic and cherry tomatoes, and succulent steaks served with a choice of delicious sauces. Diners struggling to choose from the restaurant’s extensive menu can rely on the help and expertise of an attentive and efficient team of waiting staff who are happy to give recommendations from both the food and wine menus.
Marcello’s is located a stone’s throw from The King’s Theatre so it’s a great option for a pre-theatre meal. This area of Glasgow is teeming with arts venues so diners will also find Glasgow Film Theatre, the Theatre Royal, the Pavilion Theatre and O2 ABC Glasgow all within easy walking distance too. The restaurant is easily accessed by public transport.
