Fes’ talented and energetic chef speedily cooks up a seemingly endless selection of kebabs, seafood grills, lamb dishes and regional delicacies right in front of diners in the main restaurant. For starters, you can try the Imam Bayildi: delicately fried aubergine stuffed with pepper, onions, garlic and tomatoes and baked in an oven. Other options include lightly buttered and fried calamari, Suclik Izgara: spicy Turkish garlic sausage, the popular lamb kofte, or Mucver: deep fried fritters made with feta, courgette, flour, dill, parsley and mint.
Main courses include tasty homemade moussaka, oven baked prawn casserole topped with cheese and served with rice, and the amazing Sarma Lamb Bayti: specially prepared minced lamb and herbs, wrapped in lavas bread and served with a butter and tomato sauce and yogurt.
