Delightfully located on Creek Road, near the original Heap’s Sausage deli on Nevada Street, sits the charming Heap’s Sausage pop-up café. The superb location on the north-west corner of Greenwich Park, within five minutes of Greenwich University, makes it the perfect stop off for those looking to grab some hearty, locally sourced and 100% British produce to enjoy in the park or whilst on their lunch.
Owners Martin and Enzo have a passion for fine meat which has led them around the world. They draw the inspiration for their gourmet sausages from far and wide. Despite some of the flavours and ideas behind Heap's sausages seeming adventurous, and at times complex, the premise of Heap’s Sausages is “deliciously simple”: hearty, independent produce which you can buy in bulk to cook at home, or enjoy in a bap or on a plate, having had it cooked in store by the expert chefs.
The most popular sausages include British favourites like pork and apple cider and pork with chestnut, as well as the more continental pork and sweet red pepper, and the Spanish and Italian sausages. There’s also the succulent Lamb and Mint offering, and the hearty Beef and Guinness Stout sausage, perfect for a cold winter’s day. If you’re looking for something a little different, you could try the Caribbean ‘Lucifer’ sausage, made with Scotch bonnet.
If you’re spoiled for choice, the helpful and knowledge staff will be more than happy to lend you a hand or some advice, and often, even some tempting tasters. The atmosphere inside the clean and contemporary eatery is relaxed and friendly, so if you’re looking for a quintessential British dining experience that’s full of character and bursting with flavour, there’s no better place to head than Heap's Sausage Deli.
Please Note: The tastecard discount is not available on Celebration Days including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day, New Year’s Eve etc. You can not use the offer on Saturday or Sunday. The offer is only valid on Heap’s dine-in, main food menu. Drinks are excluded.
