" We visited Culinaire for the first time on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was smart and inviting. It was difficult to choose from a limited menu - all the dishes sounded creative and inventive - no bhuna, jalfrezi or korma on this menu! After making our choices we were each presented with a complimentary dumpling, made from chick peas I think, it was very light and tasty. We were then surprised with a little teacup of tomato soup - a warm and slightly spicy soup. Our main dishes were beautifully presented, works of art on a plate. Two of us chose partridge - perfectly cooked on a bed of lentils. We all agreed the flavours were wonderful and our dining experience had been a real treat. Sadly I can't comment on the atmosphere as we were the only diners in so it was very quiet, but we enjoyed very attentive service from the young waiter and were introduced to the chef Kuldeep Raj at the end of our meal. We praised him for creating some very special dishes and wished him well with restaurant - it deserves to be successful. I urge you to visit Culinaire - it is no run of the mill Indian, you won't be disappointed. "

I most highly recommend chef Kuldeep Raj's new restaurant The Culinaire in Bexhill, East Sussex.
You may remember Kuldeep from the Saturday Flea market and his very popular Indian Streetfood stall at the The Observer Building. Kuldeep's new venture really takes it up a notch and the food is just totally amazing and sublime! You MUST TRY!
‪#‎theculinaire‬ is serving the most delicious and beautiful food - much of it locally sourced, wild and organic. There is also a really top notch wine and cocktail menu.
The Culinaire is very, very special and I think it will quickly turn into one of those places round here in which it becomes difficult to get a table without booking in advance. So whilst the restaurant in new, get in there fast and book a table like....NOW:
