Sutton Coldfield’s premier Indian restaurant Mango Spice is conveniently located just a ten minute walk from both Butler’s Lane and Four Oaks train stations. The welcoming staff are keen to please customers seven days a week, whether they’re stopping by after work to satisfy their spice cravings, or indulging in a special meal with loved ones.
Mango Spice is decorated vibrantly with colourful Asian artwork, which reflects the highly flavoursome dishes that the experienced and passionate chefs prepare in the restaurant’s pristine kitchen. Whether you’re after an old favourite such as a Korma, Masala or Rogan Josh, or looking to try something new, you’re bound to be given a full Indian sensory experience. Mango Spice’s curries are prepared with the freshest meat, poultry, vegetable, herbs, spices and seafood, which is locally sourced wherever possible.
Mango Spice’s signature specials are unmissable, and you may struggle to find them anywhere else in the UK. Seafood lovers will delight in their offering of Lahsuni Lobster tail, marinated in herbs and spices and chargrilled in a tandoori oven, or the Misrithi Machili Avada: fillet of monk fish and king prawns in a creamy pepper and chilli sauce, as well as their Chingri Raj-Zul: jumbo king prawns in a thick spicy sauce made with a blend of garlic, ginger, naga chill, fresh coriander and spices. There’s also the irresistible Gosht Rezala: prime, slow cooked beef steak in a velvety smooth cream sauce, flavoured with chilli, cumin, black pepper, garlic and coriander.
There’s also so many flavoursome and healthy traditional vegetarian options, you may find meat unnecessary: the friendly waiters will serve everything from Bhindi curry to Aloo Ghobi, and Saag Paneer to Chana Masala - chickpeas in a garlic, tomato and onion spicy curry.
There are plenty of mild options available for those who can’t handle the heat, as well as a fully licensed bar, meaning Mango Spice is perfect to share a curry and celebrate something special.
