Following on from the success of their original venue in the Merchant City area of Glasgow, the team behind Café Source have now seen the same kind of success occur with their second venue Café Source Too. Opened four years ago in the Hillhead area of Glasgow, Café Source Too is found on the ground floor and first floor of Hillhead Sports Club. As with its older sibling, the aim is to showcase the amazing ingredients of Scotland in a new and creative way.
Only the very finest Scottish suppliers are used by the Café Source Too kitchen which are then transformed into an exciting array of dishes for the menu. Starters include the traditional Scottish dish of Cullen Skink which is a smoked haddock and potato soup along with the delicious Ramsay’s pulled pork & black pudding slider in a brioche bun with an apple & celeriac slaw. The mains on offer are just as exciting and include Ramsay’s of Carluk smoked pork loin with slow braised pig cheek, new potatoes, gnocchi and a pea & leek cream or slow braised daube of beef with black pudding rumbledethumps and roast vegetables. For those looking for something a little lighter or the more health conscious amongst us, there are a selection of salads and sandwiches readily available.
Café Source Too is a spacious dining room with a modern décor. Floor to ceiling windows surround the restaurant permitting light to flood through and the long bar with its high stools lined along its length is the centrepiece of the room.
Sample the delightfully creative modern Scottish cuisine at the excellent Café Source Too, a restaurant that is not to be missed when in and around Glasgow.
