An authentic Thai menu is served at the excellent Blue Mango restaurant in Bournemouth. Found just a few steps back from the main seafront of the Dorset seaside resort, Blue Mango is conveniently close to the city’s major attractions such as the brilliant Oceanarium and the iconic Bournemouth Pier.
After a fun day along the seafront, head on over to the Blue Mango restaurant and indulge in a myriad of delicious flavours and aromas.
For anyone who knows Thai food well, the Blue Mango menu will most certainly impress with a variety of classic Thai dishes along with a few specials of the house too. The best way to start, if amongst friends or family, is with the Blue Mango mixed platter, the perfect sharer dish. Tuck into chicken satay, spring rolls, Thai fish cakes, khanom pang nan goong and succulent mini ribs. To follow, there are plenty of curries to choose from, each varying in spice and flavour. The mild and creamy massaman curry is made with coconut milk, potatoes, peanuts and onions and is perfect for anyone who prefers less heat in their food whilst the king prawn Thai red curry with pineapple adds a little heat and sweetness to proceedings. Other highlights include the Blue Mango honey duck, a special of the house and the crispy fried sea bass fillets with Thai herbs and a special Thai sauce.
The food may be traditional but the décor is utterly modern at the Blue Mango restaurant, where tall leather seats, huge modern art prints and cool wooden floors feature. Service is always great and staff are happy to assist with menu recommendations.
Offering an ideal location just off Bournemouth seafront, Blue Mango is a superb representation of Thai cuisine and hospitality.
