Enjoy fine Indian cuisine at the lovely Pappadams restaurant in Swindon, serving a wide array of authentic Indian dishes. Restaurant Manager Robby and Head Chef Rijo teamed up in 2011 to open their first restaurant venture in Reading and following great success, opened Pappadams in Swindon just three years later. Already boasting a long list of regular customers, Pappadams is all about providing the local community with a high level of customer service and some of the finest Indian dishes around.
The menu takes diners on a journey across the entire Indian sub-continent with stops in places such as the Punjab, Goa and south India. Seafood dishes are well worth a try at Pappadams, such as the aromatic south Indian style prawns with a coconut paste or the mouth-watering crab masala cooked in its shell. As for the meat dishes, the lamb dragon curry is a fiery hot and spicy dish and not for the faint hearted while the tender mutton cooked with coconut and curry leaves is a sensation. There are plenty of traditional Indian dishes to enjoy at Pappadams as well, keeping everyone happy.
Pappadams is a stylish and modern dining room with tall leather seating and large red lampshades adding a splash of colour. Classic Indian artwork adorns the white walls and tables are topped with bright white linens.
Pappadams in Swindon constantly challenges and develops its menu to reflect both traditional and modern Indian cuisine, and it is thanks to this that the restaurant has proved equally as successful as its older sibling over in Reading.
