Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are transformed into perfectly formed French dishes, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The snails with garlic and parsley are a French staple for starters and are honestly delicious whilst the confit duck salad with a balsamic and cherry dressing is another great way to kick off a meal. The delicious steak bavette with béarnaise sauce and dauphinoise potatoes is simple and absolutely delicious whilst the fresh stone bass with pancetta, apple and ginger puree and pak choi is the perfect combination of flavours .A specially selected wine list accompanies the menus offerings perfectly with some fantastic options from both the Old and New World.
Head through the pretty pale blue frontage of Truffles of Southsea and enjoy dining in a charmingly rustic dining room. Exposed brick has been white washed and light blue and white cushions atop banquette seats against the wall give the place a nautical feel. Wooden vintage style tables and chairs add a bistro touch whilst the open plan kitchen invites diners to watch the chefs work their magic.
