The Hambletonian is a large village pub located in the pretty village of Norton just outside of Stockton on Tees. A popular destination for both drinking and dining amongst local villagers as well as visitors from the surrounding area, The Hambeltonian boasts an enviable village location overlooking the charming village green with its large fountain filled duck pond.

Larger dishes are available in the restaurant with the star dish of chicken parmesan with home cooked chunky chips an absolute winner and the lamb rump with turnip, carrots, potatoes, butternut squash puree and red wine and port reduction also absolutely delicious.

A mix of vintage and modern styles feature in both the dining room and bar with ornate fireplaces and exposed brick walls and vintage style furnishings with lots of fresh flowers. Outside, there is a large parking area, making The Hambletonian a great choice for those coming from out of town.
