Come and enjoy life at The Hinchliffe, a traditional country pub in the heart of Calderdale, Yorkshire, where you'll find a warm local welcome wherever you're from, accompanied by a range of tasty dishes, well-picked cask ales and wines.
The Hinchliffe has been a pub for many years, however the establishment has recently undergone a fantastic facelift. With an old-meets-new feel, a log fire and a warm ambience, the pub is the perfect destination for a hearty meal come rain or shine.
Whilst the Hinchcliffe’s menu draws inspiration from traditional British pub classics, the team look to the future with the food they produce to give their dishes a contemporary edge. The staff are passionate about their beautiful Yorkshire surroundings, and many of the ingredients they use are sourced locally from nearby farms and farmers’ markets. From 10 oz Ribeye Steak and Roast Rump of Lamb, to a refined Pea, Mint and Feta Pesto pasta, there’s something for every member of the party to enjoy.
Located in idyllic Cragg Vale just outside of Hebden Bride, the 19th century Yorkshire Stone building nestles in-between streams and leafy woodland areas ripe for exploring with family during the warmer months. The location also makes the pub an excellent jumping-off point, or post-hike dinner destination for anyone looking to enjoy a day in the West Yorkshire Moors. The recently refurbished interior makes the most of the building's rustic and rural character, bringing the historical house into the 21st Century.
Take a pew. Take your time. Relax and enjoy the simple and honest pleasures of a traditional country pub
