The kitchen at Hamilton’s Restaurant is headed up by talented Head Chef Imad, an impressive culinary professional whose previous stint at the famous Gravetye Manor earned him a Michelin star. Chef Imad has already managed to gain two Aa Rosettes after a short time at Hamilton’s and is working hard with his team to secure even more accolades. British cuisine with French inspiration best describes the menu at Hamilton’s which changes regularly in keeping with the seasons. Indulge in the likes of scallops with caramelised garlic, coriander puree and sesame reduction for starters and follow with a delectable roast saddle of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and baby summer vegetables. Desserts are equally as impressive with the Grovefield Assiette a must try for all lovers of chocolate.

Important Information

Please note: The tastecard promotion is not valid on Sunday as the main menu is not served. The tastecard discount is not available on bank holidays or celebrations days. These include, but are not limited to, Sunday Valentines day, Father's day, Mothering Sunday, Christmas eve and Christmas day. The discount is also unavailable throughout December. You must also book in advance and mention the tastecard to be entitled to the discount.

    Booked about 1 hour before arriving. We were warned that there would be a delay as there were two private functions taking place. We were offered a table where we drank our drinks in a bar. No other diners in the bar. Loud background music playing ugh! After about 40 minutes waiting, we were shown into the dining room. We were the only diners for nearly an hour. In the end the food proved to be worth waiting for. The whole place lacked atmosphere which I feel will be no good in the longtime. Things have to improve if they want my business. "

    Visited again last week, made the advance booking as required for tastecard, however it seems they took down the wrong date. We were seated then left for nearly 10mins without the offer of a drink or menu, the waitress then asked to take my name again so I asked if there was a problem, she replied that she needed to check with her supervisor to see if she could serve us with a tastecard- the restaurant had only two other guests!!
    We were made to feel very unwelcome so left we would not go there again and would not recommend to other tastecard users "
