Owners of wholesale company Premier Cheese, suppliers to high end restaurants such as Raymond Blanc’s La Manoir aux Quat’Saison, Paldi and Charriaux’s passion for cheese continues with their fabulous La Cave a Fromage shop and café brand.
Offering a fine selection of farmhouse and artisan cheese and charcuterie from the UK and Europe, La Cave a Fromage is a true gem. Aside from the fabulous shop selling all kinds of charcuterie and cheese delights, the in-house café dishes up a mouth-watering menu of platters and boards accompanied by some very fine wine options.
Enjoy a small platter of Plateau Campagnard, mini saucissons, Comté dices and cornichons or tuck into the balanced cheese board which includes three different UK cheeses and three different Welsh meats. Larger platters are designed by country and include the amazing French Connection platter with saucisson Pyrenees, jambon Bayonne with camembert de Normandie, Comté and Fourme d’Ambert.
Located in the heart of Brunswick Town in Hove, just a short walk from the seafront, La Cave a Fromage boasts a stylish black exterior with a smattering of pavement seating for al fresco dining in the summertime. Inside solid oak tables and chairs and exposed brick walls set the scene for dining whilst the huge counter displays numerous tempting cheeses and cured meats.
