Jaipur Restaurant is somewhat of a legend in Milton Keynes. An Indian restaurant with a whole bunch of awards and accolades tucked under its majestic belt, and a list of regular customers longer than those outside the Taj Mahal! Opened back in 1988 and recreated 14 years later as the largest purpose built Indian restaurant in the world, Jaipur Restaurant is an iconic landmark of Milton Keynes, and wouldn't look out of place in the magical Rajasthani capital itself.
The kitchen is headed up by a team of expert Indian chefs, many of whom have graced the hot plates of some of India’s leading five star hotels. Classical Indian cuisine is fused with a myriad of innovative ideas to produce a contemporary Indian menu of award winning proportions. From the Mughals to the Goans and the Bengalis to the Guajaratis, the authentic flavours and recipes of Indian cooking shine through out of Jaipur's menu. Highlights include an amazing whole baby chicken stuffed with chicken mince, pistachios and saffron topped with a mussalam sauce, and served with stir fried vegetables and rice; a Malabar prawn curry with coconut and mustard and a tender spring lamb cooked in an almond and cream sauce.
Located in a convenient town centre spot close to the huge shopping centre and the main train station, Jaipur Restaurant is an eye catching temple, both inside and out. Service is yet another reason that this restaurant has been around for so long, with a professional and welcoming team greeting each and every diner.
