Located just five miles from East Midlands Airport, the beautiful Priest House Hotel is a spectacular destination.
A converted Norman mill tower and adjacent 17th century cottage, this historic hotel sits on the banks of the River Trent and boasts the most idyllic of settings.
The Millstream Bar and Terrace within the Priest House Hotel is a fabulous spot in which to dine, whether as a guest of the hotel or simply a visitor, serving a fine menu of locally sourced ingredients in stunning period surroundings.
Having recently undergone a bit of a revamp, including new furnishings and new menus, the Millstream Bar and Terrace has transformed into the perfect destination for a good meal. Platters are the perfect sharing dish and the Butchers Block platter comes highly recommended, featuring Black Forest ham, chicken liver parfait, huntsman pie, and much more.
Perfect as a starter or equally good as a light bite, the Millstream crayfish is a must try, which is smoked over hickory wood chips and served with locally grown watercress and a lemon butter sauce. As for the mains, the smoked Derbyshire beef cheek with caramelised pearl onion pie is a delightful dish.
Beautiful old stone walls, original wood floors and a classic period style feature inside at The Millstream Bar while the terrace boasts wonderful views over the riverside and is perfect for summertime dining. Just a few miles off the M1 motorway, the Priest House Hotel is a glorious spot, offering local dining at its very best.
