Found beside the Crystal Palace Park just outside of London is the award winning Modern English restaurant, The Exhibition Rooms.
Having been awarded Time Out’s Best Local Restaurant Award 2009, the high quality of The Exhibition Rooms is assured, and diners can enjoy some sumptuous Modern English dishes, both familiar and foreign alike.
Diners calling in advance with their card can indulge in all the rich dishes at a fantastic price, allowing the opportunity to sample delights from across the entire menu. The kitchen, spearheaded by Chef Patron Dave Massey and Head Chef Martins Sustko, is constantly filled with fresh flavours, all which are able to translate into some utterly irresistible food for all who walk through the door.
Begin the experience with one of the exemplary appetisers, featuring the likes of the delectable tempura fried soft shell crab, accompanied with a Nam Jim dressed Asian salad, the wondrous smoked duck breast, partnered with a soft boiled hens egg, cranberry puree and spring onion salad, and the refreshing baby beetroot salad, tossed with toasted peanuts, goat’s cheese and an aromatic bread crumble.
Continuing on to the main course, diners will have plenty of classics to choose from, albeit familiar favourites with contemporary twists, including the juicy slow cooked belly pork, served with a black pudding crumble as well as smoked chillies and minted apple, the exquisite broad bean, pea and goat’s cheese risotto, complete with a balsamic dressed rocket salad, and the king of all steaks, the magnificent chateaubriand, which is best tackled in tandem with another carnivorous diner.
Acting as the ideal location for a special date night, The Exhibition Rooms is somewhere truly special.
