La Nostra is a family run restaurant with over 15 years of experience delivering authentic Italian cuisine to the diners of Winchmore Hill.
Authenticity is key to La Nostra's ethos, as they source approximately 90% of their ingredients straight from Italy. A cosy interior that seats under 50, diners can retreat to La Nostra when they’re seeking a secluded spot in which to simply dine with a special someone, or grab a satisfying and swift lunch.
Now accepting the tastecard, La Nostra opens its doors wide to members who call in advance with their card and honours an excellent discount. This provides the perfect excuse to indulge a little on more scrumptious Italian fare, such as a delightful starter.
Speaking of the exemplary appetisers, guests can tantalise their taste buds with Italian flavours from the first bite with antipasti such as the sumptuous Cozza Provincale, a medley of mussels served in a white wine, tomato and garlic sauce, the tempting Mozarelline Fritti, breadcrumb coated baby Mozzarella fried until golden and served in a homemade tomato sauce, and for the parties that like to share the experience, the eclectic Antipasti La Nostra, an ensemble of chargrilled vegetables, salami, buffalo Mozzarella and more.
Continue onto the main course, where staples of classic Italian cuisine are available. Particularly noteworthy choices include the succulent Bistecca di Pepe, a marinated sirloin steak accompanied with sautéed potatoes, broccoli and a creamy white wine and peppercorn sauce, the delectable Linguini al Granchio, fresh crab presented on a bed of linguini and mixed with asparagus, chillies and a white wine sauce, and the irresistible namesake pizza, the Pizza La Nostra, covered with goat’s cheese, rocket leaves, Parmesan cheese and more veggie friendly delights.
Found close to the Winchmore Hill train station and a short drive south of Enfield centre, those seeking an authentic Italian feast should look no further than La Nostra.
Please Note: The tastecard discount is not available on Bank Holidays or on Celebration Days including, but not limited to, Valentine's Day, Mothering Sunday, Father's Day, etc.
