Situated on the historic Welsh Row in Nantwich, The Wilbraham Arms is a charming pub richly furnished with a modern interior. Acting as both a local pub and a wondrous restaurant, The Wilbraham Arms goes by another name; The Wilbraham’s Bar and Kitchen.
Now accepting Gourmet Society members who call in advance with their card, diners can enjoy a wealth of wondrous dishes as a fantastic price, allowing guests to enjoy a cornucopia of nibbles, starters, and main courses that offer everything from juicy burgers to refreshing salads.
Kick things off with one of the superb starters, such as the tantalising Thai style crab cakes, paired with a lime dressed salad, the scrumptious garlic mushrooms, complete with a creamy sauce, and the rich homemade chicken liver pate, accompanied with toast and an onion chutney.
A plethora of palate pleasing dishes are available for the main course, with a selection that caters equally to carnivorous and herbivorous diners alike. Particularly merit worthy meals include the succulent Lamb Henry lamb, prepared in a rosemary and cranberry jus and served with seasonal vegetables, the delectable king prawns linguini, presented with a rich red wine, tomato and garlic sauce, and the spicy Punjabi vegetable curry, partnered with a naan bread and a yogurt and mint raita.
With plenty more available for tastes, The Wilbraham’s Bar and Kitchen makes for a great spot for any meal, be it a simple catch up with a friend or a family gathering.
